First off we competed at Silverstone (Lotus Eleven - good qualifying, but clutch pipe broke so we could not race), Isle of Man (Simon in his Riley - 2nd) and Wiscombe Hill Climb where we ran both Rileys on both the 500 Club day on Saturday (wet to start with but cleared up) and the VSCC day on the Sunday (Simon managed 4th in class).
Next up we competed at Oulton Park, then Cadwell, Pembrey - great fun in the team race and finally Angouleme. Angouleme was the closest racing we have had to date with 4th on the grid and 4th finish (having been 3rd and 5th) - new tyres working well! This winter I am trying to upgrade the brakes, rebuild the engine and work on the Austin and Sara's Riley.
Sara has just completed her ARDS so will be on circuit next year - you have been warned!
